The mission of APA is to educate and support our membership. APA's educational programs offer the necessary tools and resources to provide information, training and knowledge on emerging issues and latest developments in the legal profession.
CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION (CLE'S)
There are several opportunities to earn CLEs throughout the year. APA hosts Learn-At-Lunch educational seminars on the 3rd Thursday of each month (dates are subject to change). These seminars are offered to members and non-members to network with other paralegals or legal assistants in the area, to get to know other paralegals who may also work in your area of law, and to add value to your career by acquiring knowledge about the legal profession. All educational seminars are submitted to NALA for approval of 1.0 hours or more of CLE credit.

CERTIFICATION BY NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF LEGAL ASSISTANTS, INC. (NALA)
In addition to APA’s Learn-At-Lunch monthly educational seminars, NALA offers other opportunities throughout the year to obtain CLEs through webinars in various areas of the law. Also, NALA offers two certifications – the Certified Paralegal credential (CP) and the Advanced Certified Paralegal credential (ACP).
